So why should you haggle? It probably won't make you popular, it definately won't make you better
looking, and it won't take that smell away - yeah you know which smell I'm talking about.

The world is set up to haggle. Every vendor in every country knows your right to haggle. Sure, some
might not admit it but they all set the prices in such a way to enable you to haggle.

Think of it this way (in the mind of the vendor)

You buy something for $1, you resell it for $10; knowing that you could also sell it for $2 and make a
profit. Why does the vendor sell it for $10? Because he knows that the majority of people won't call him
out on it. He knows that for the most part people will come pay the $10 and walk away happy.

Now imagine 1000 people come to buy from this vendor. Out of 1000 of them, 153 of them haggle the price
down to $4. Does the vendor put up a fight, of course - but does he sell it to them for $4? of course he
does because he is still making a profit.

847 people pay $10 for the item: making a profit of $8470 for the vendor.
153 hagglers come and pay $4 for the item: making a profit of $612 for the vendor.

Overall the vendor has made a profit of $9082. A profit that he is very happy with.

Although it is somewhat of an artificial example it just shows the willingness of vendors to accept
haggling.
Haggle Tip: Never be attached to anything you want to haggle on - be ready to walk away at any time.
