These a few common mistakes made when haggling:

• Getting angry: Do not let your emotions get the best of you. Remember, the vendor did nothing to you,
you approached him with a price that is different than what he is advertising.

• Don't be unreasonable: the vendor needs to make money too, he cannot give you the item for free.

• Don't stay there for too long haggling with the vendor, it only creates an angry mood which doesn't
result in any benefits.

• Don't dress to impress when haggling; I'm not saying dress down but don't walk into the establishment
with a suit on flashing your Rolex.

• Do not make a scene. Some feel that this will help them get the price they want. In most cases the
store will agree with you to get you out or they will call in security.

• Don't overstep your boundaries and you will be fine.
Haggle Tip: Never be attached to anything you want to haggle on - be ready to walk away at any time.
